Open skills for coding agents

Stop shipping UI that looks generated

Eleven skills for Claude Code and other agents. They make your agent choose a direction before it writes CSS, then check the result: spacing, contrast, motion, copy.

npx skills add molveau/skills

Free and open source. Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and any agent that reads SKILL.md, and as an MCP server in any MCP client.

  • Claude Opus, one run
  • No hand edits to the result
  • $4.82 of API
  • 30 AI tells → 0
  • Button contrast 4.2 → 13.8 (WCAG AA)
A dashboard vibecoded by Claude Sonnet, unslopped by Claude Opus with the anti-slop skill in one run. No hand edits to anything the skill produced: the prompts, both files and this video are in the repo.

What changes

Your agent decides the look before it writes the code

  1. A direction first

    Five lines on the product, its character and the world it belongs to, plus one detail only it has. The defaults every model reaches for are named and refused.

  2. Then nine passes

    Spacing, colour, icons, copy, type, layout, details, visuals, motion, each across the whole screen, with values that come from one owner instead of three opinions.

  3. Then it measures

    Scripts catch the tells, motion loops and French spacing. Contrast and target sizes are checked against WCAG, and the story video shows every ratio change.

The skills

Install all eleven, or only what you need

Each skill merges the best open material on one subject, pinned to a commit and checked against upstream every week.

In Claude Code

Commands, review agents and a check on every edit

The plugin adds four commands and two read-only agents to the eleven skills, and a hook that checks each file the agent edits.

Commands

/unslop
Runs the full anti-slop pass on a screen: direction, nine passes, report.
/story-video
Records the before-and-after video, with the live accessibility step.
/fr-check
Checks French spacing and punctuation, and fixes it when you ask.
/loi-25-audit
Produces the Law 25 report, item by item. Not legal advice.

Agents

ui-reviewer
Reviews files for design and UX in its own context and returns ranked findings with exact fixes.
loi-25-auditor
Audits a site against Law 25, read-only, and returns the report.

Check on edit

After each edit, flags AI-look tells in UI files and spacing errors in French files. Silent when the file is clean; turn it off in /config.

MCP server

The same checks, as tools for any MCP client

Five read-only tools, with no dependencies and no network. In Claude Code the plugin starts the server for you; other clients run it from npm.

detect_tells
Finds the 20 tells of generated UI in a snippet or in your project’s files.
check_contrast
Gives the WCAG contrast of a text colour on a background, with AA and AAA.
fr_typo
Checks French spacing and punctuation, or returns the text fixed.
check_motion
Runs the motion guardrails on a snippet.
get_playbook
Returns a skill’s direction gate, or the playbook sections that answer your question.

Claude Code with the plugin: nothing to add.

Claude Code without the plugin:

claude mcp add molveau-skills -- npx -y @molveau/skills

    "molveau-skills": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@molveau/skills"]
